Description:
Lots of my apps (pygtk powered specifically) were not working this morning after the python 3 update (pacman -Syu). They were unable to locate /usr/bin/python2 (which didn't exist) and "pacman -Ql python2" didn't list it either. After running "pacman -Sy python2 --asdeps" (manually forcing an update) the executable /usr/bin/python2 appeared.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
python2 2.7-2
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
pacman -Syu
launch a python2-specific app (sonata, terminator, ccsm, etc) - it crashes
pacman -Sy python2 --asdeps
launch a python2-specific app - it works

We have had no more reports of this despite many upgrades being performed. So with no replication there is not much to be done.

If someone else has the some issue, request a reopening of the bug.
