Description: Tried to launch soundconverter, and I get this in terminal :

[fred@fredo-arch ~]$ File "/usr/bin/soundconverter", line 26
print '%s %s' % (NAME, VERSION)
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

[1]+ Exit 1 soundconverter

Tried to rebuild from abs and get this :

checking for python version... 3.1
checking for python platform... linux2
checking for python script directory... ${prefix}/lib/python3.1/site-packages
checking for python extension module directory... ${exec_prefix}/lib/python3.1/site-packages
checking for pygtk 2.12 installed... not found
configure: error: required pygtk version not found

Of course, pygtk 2.22 is available...

Additional info:

pacman -Si pygtk
Dépôt : testing
Nom : pygtk
Version : 2.22.0-2

pacman -Si soundconverter
Dépôt : community
Nom : soundconverter
Version : 1.5.3-2

Steps to reproduce:

Just upgrade to python3 :)

Workaround : modify first line of /usr/bin/soundconverter from /usr/bin/python to /usr/bin/python2...

we are doing all rebuilding in clean chroot and python is not installed, only python2, therefor only that version would be detected

Well, again busted after I can make it work yesterday.

/me is kinda tired with all those breakage :(

i think your last issue was because of pygtk but now all the dependencies were rebuilt gnome-python and gstreamer0.10-python
