//i'm sorry. didnt understand bug-tracker interface.

i should split translations into transmission-common and make transmission-qt and -gtk depend on it.

after installing transmission-gtk, -qt should be translated, or is not?

t*-common is quite a nice idea.

>after installing transmission-gtk, -qt should be translated, or is not?
can you rephrase it?

transmission-qt interface is translated after you installed transmission-gtk(which has the translations in it)

no.

AFAIK, translations file for qt apps ends with qm or ts extention (see kcheckers or avidemux-qt). The transmission source tarball only contains:

transmission_en.qm
transmission_en.ts
transmission_ru.ts

which are not in the package. BTW, I believe they should be installed in /usr/share/transmission/i18n/

right now the transmission translations for qt are not well supported even for the russian one.

maybe it would in the future versions.

Translations *are* available, but not shipped due to compilation/packaging error.

On debian transmission-qt have translations, can you add language files to the arch package?

I found the PKGBUILD from Kaosx, which include translation files.
