Details

Adding new application links in the gnome menu is not possible.
If I create the link using Entire Menu->Add new entry, the link shows up in applications:// but is not displayed in the menu even after reboot.
When trying to add a link using applications://, nothing is shown anywhere.

I confirm this, possibly a glib2 bug. not sure though

No, someone else filed it already, that patch made gnome completely unusable :[
