Description:
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Installed chromium under KDE, there was a menu icon, but when I clicked it, it would not open. Command line: chromium and it said it was missing font. Installed ttf-ms-fonts, worked. |

There are several packages you can install to fix it. ttf-dejavu
works too.
if maintainers cant/want deside which ttf font chromium should
install as depend, (even though ttf-dejavu has the best unicode
coverage, AFAIK) would be really nice if pacman said that chromium
needs a ttf font before it works.
This problem also occurs on a clean install of gnome.
