From http://download.aircrack-ng.org/aircrack-ng-1.1.tar.gz aircrack-ng contains a subfolder with scripts such as airgraph-ng.

These files are missing in the aircrack-ng package.

Reason for closing:  Implemented
Additional comments about closing:  aircrack-ng split into aircrack-ng and aircrack-ng-scripts

Only the scripts that are located in separate sub directories in "aircrack-ng-1.1/scripts" (that's airdrop-ng and airgraph-ng) are not included, since they are not part of the main aircrack-ng Makefile but have their own Makefiles that'd need to be invoked separately. Do those packages really belong to the aircrack-ng core package? Neither Gentoo nor Debian nor any other popular distro does include them. Maybe we'd better create separate packages for them (e.g. in [unsupported])...

Ah, and btw: If you create PKGBUILDs for either airdrop-ng or airgraph-ng, also keep in mind that you might need to patch script shebangs to use python2 instead of python as they'll probably not work with Python 3 (you'll need to check that).

Ah, sorry about having to wait. This was some time ago since I worked with this/used archlinux so I'm afraid I cannot point at the resources I used then.

I did search and found the following resource:
http://airodump.net/airgraph-ng-graphing-away-wi-fi-traffic/
The last sentence of the first paragraph states: "You can find it in the aircrack-ng package in the scripts subdirectory as it is a simple python script."
Something like this got me thinking it was missing.

On the other hand:
http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=airgraph-ng
This page present airograph-ng as a separate package.

Split PKGBUILD is probably the proper way to handle this.

Ye, maybe split it into aircrack-ng and aircrack-ng-scripts and use a split PKGBUILD. Daenyth? :)
Comment by Gavin Bisesi (Daenyth) - Thursday, 20 January 2011, 15:34 GMT
That seems fine. Can someone send me a split PKGBUILD for this? I haven't had a ton of time to work on it.

@Daenyth I've been working on one for the past few days. I was going to package it myself, but you can have it. :-)
   PKGBUILD (1.9 KiB)

If you're already on it I don't mind at all. I've been really busy these past few months..

@Daenyth Alrighty then, I'll build those two and close this bug when I get them pushed to the repos (and don't worry, I know exactly how you feel).
