Details

My sound device is via686a on board sound device, using alsa driver of official kernel 2.6.10-ARCH. After I update esd from 0.2.34 to 0.2.35, the media player which using esd driver plays sound broken. The sound is terrible to hear. I have to change back to esd-0.2.34.

It works fine in my notebook PC (on board Inter855 sound device).
But not in my via686a.
