Description:
I suspend as usual using the Gnome dialog, and it seems to work right: there is high disk activity for a while, then the system stops. However, on waking the computer, it boots as if there had be no hibernation, except that fsck is launched. I haven't spotted other relevant error messages, but maybe I haven't looked at the right place Steps to reproduce: Hibernate (from gnome) Try to wake the computer -> doesn't work. Happens every time. |

It does resume from hibernation now, but it still doesn't work: the X is all garbled, and I can't log from the text consoles. I left a running root session in a text console, and noticed that ordinary programs segfault after the resume:
