Description:
The Package sdl (1.2.14-1) makes that Wesnoth buttons don't work. I am using wmii and the last Wesnoth version.

Additional info:
* 1.2.14-1

Steps to reproduce: Open Wesnoth with the sdl 1.2.14-1.
Solution: use sdl 1.2.13-3.

When did this start occuring? sdl 1.2.14 has been in the repos for a long time so it is strange to only hear about a bug now.

I can not reproduce this bug, using sdl 1.2.14-1 on 64bit.

I have same problem, but only when I use compiz and run wesnoth in window mode.

The Debian patch breaks other stuff and this is a rather limited problem so I am reverting it.

No much we can do here. Upstream bugs have been open for six months with no response and the Debian patch breaks other things. Closing as an upstream issue.
