Description:

[ruby] 1.9.1_p378-2 breaks reasonable rubygem compatibility.

Additional info:
The version that comes with the package is (I believe) 1.3.1 or older --installing a gem reminded me that I was below 1.3.2, the most recent is 1.3.6. You _could_ always just do a sudo gem update --system and life would be good, but that's mildly irritating since I just installed a brand spanking new update of ruby.


Steps to reproduce:
sudo gem install rails
(I believe that's what I did, but this was much earlier tonight)
