Details

Description:
No sound in XBMC Standalone with Pulseaudio.

Additional info:
* package version(s)

9.11-11

* config and/or log files etc.

Error during playback: Failed to initialize audio device.

Steps to reproduce:
Just run an XBMC session.
Workaround:
edit /usr/bin/xbmc-standalone

from:
#!/bin/sh
if which pulse-session; then
pulse-session xbmc --standalone "$@"
else
xbmc --standalone "$@"
fi

to:
#!/bin/sh
if which pulseaudio; then
pulseaudio --start && xbmc --standalone "$@"
else
xbmc --standalone "$@"
fi

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  As BlackEagle pointed out, pulseaudio is disabled in the PKGBUILD. Rebuilding from ABS (or posting a package in AUR?) would be the way to go.
