The default unencrypted wireless profile will cause net-auto-wireless to fail to start. When netcfg-wpa_actiond is run manually, it return the following error:

Line 12: WPA-PSK accepted for key management, but no PSK configured.
Line 12: failed to parse network block.
Failed to read or parse configuration '/tmp/wpa.wlan0/wpa.conf'

The line SECURITY="none" must be added to get the profile to work, and should be added to the default profile as well.
