Details
Description: Enabling devtmpfs support (without automatic
mounting) can take some advantages with the current
system.
For example, booting the system with "init=/bin/bash", then "mount -t devtmpfs none /dev", will get all discovered devices by the kernel, so there is no need to start manually udevd under this situation. Also, in a future (when kernels below 2.6.32 will not supported), mkinitcpio and initscripts can use it. |
