Please, could you enable addressbook-support for thunderbird with the next builds? I really miss this feature. AFAIR you have to set a flag (enable - mozilla?) or so.

I never heard of thunderbird adress book support. Please give more informations what it does, how to enable it and where it's documented. All mozilla related configure switches I know are only to set if you want to build against system mozilla/xulrunner or against internal OOo shipped mozilla source.

What I mean is, that you can use the Thunderbird addressbook as a datasource in OO (like the evolution addressbook in the current build). I have seen this on opensuse and afaik it is in the prebuilt packages from go-oo.
AFAIK it must be built against the internal OOo shipped mozilla source - but I don´t know this exactly.

If you want to see this in Arch you should try to find out how it is done. I don't use TB myself and have no interest and time for this now. So ask on the ooo-build mailing list or in their IRC channel or directly the Suse people how it has to be done. Then try it with ABS and out PKGBUILD. If it works I may think about including it.

It was a bad idea...
I asked on the ooo-build list. Here you can read the answer: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/ooo-build/2009-December/000445.html

So forget my idea.

Jürgen
