Description:

My computer sometimes fails to wake up from hibernation. It seems to be working, since I can usually reboot with Alt+Ctrl+Suppr, but the screen is black. This started happening after a kernel or an intel drivers update a while ago, I can't remember which. The weird thing is that it seems to be happening only the second time I hibernate: after a complete reboot, I can hibernate once with no problems, but the next hibernation fails.

Additional info:
My computer is a Dell E5500 with an intel GM45 integrated graphics chipset. lspci:
