When no /etc/profile.d/* files exist, whatis in cron.daily gives this message:

/etc/cron.daily/whatis: line 5: /etc/profile.d/*: No such file or directory


/etc/profile.d/ is empty on most of my servers, but is rarely empty on a desktop machine.
