Details
Description: laptopmode ignores original commit= mount
options when remounting partitions.
When laptopmode is enabled, it mounts partitions with commit=600. When it exits, it should revert mount options to those specified in fstab. laptopmode remounted partitions are falling back to the default commit=0 value, even though these partitions where mounted with commit=500 in fstab. The rest of the mount options are respected (noatime, relatime, etc.) and returned to the fstab options. Additional info: laptop-mode-tools 1.51-1 |

Q. One of my ext3/reiserfs partitions doesn't get remounted with the commit= option.
A. Check if it is listed as type "auto" in fstab. Laptop mode tools cannot currently detect the filesystem type if it is mounted as type "auto". If you desperately need this, drop me a line.
