Details
Description:
network-manager-applet has some code, which relies on provided libexecdir option. For example, it searches VPN plugin helpers in /usr/libexec, so it forces all the VPN plugins to be installed in it. I don't sure if it's upstream bug, but this can be easily fixed with --libexecdir=/usr/lib/networkmanager. Additional info: * package version(s): network-manager-applet-0.7.1-1 * related files: network-manager-applet-0.7.1/src/vpn-password-dialog.c:147 Steps to reproduce: Install networkmanager-pptp from AUR, see it installs /usr/libexec. Try to rebuild with custom libexecdir - it will not work. |
