Description:
File /etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb was renamed to /etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb.conf in the latest v86d package version. But the file /lib/initcpio/install/v86d still points to the old one. The problem appears when regenerating the image. Additional info: * package version(s): kernel26 2.6.29.4-1 v86d 0.1.9-5 mkinitcpio 0.5.25-1 * config and/or log files etc. ERROR: file '/etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb' does not exist Steps to reproduce: Just run image build: # mkinitcpio -p kernel26 ==> Building image "default" ==> Running command: /sbin/mkinitcpio -k 2.6.29-ARCH -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/kernel26.img :: Begin build :: Parsing hook [base] :: Parsing hook [v86d] ERROR: file '/etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb' does not exist :: Parsing hook [keymap] :: Parsing hook [udev] :: Parsing hook [resume] :: Generating module dependencies :: Generating image '/boot/kernel26.img'...SUCCESS ==> SUCCESS ==> Building image "fallback" ==> Running command: /sbin/mkinitcpio -k 2.6.29-ARCH -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/kernel26-fallback.img -S autodetect :: Begin build :: Parsing hook [base] :: Parsing hook [v86d] ERROR: file '/etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb' does not exist :: Parsing hook [keymap] :: Parsing hook [udev] :: Parsing hook [resume] :: Generating module dependencies :: Generating image '/boot/kernel26-fallback.img'...SUCCESS ==> SUCCESS |

Fixed and rebuilt for i686. x86_64 will follow later (if no-one
beats me to it...)
