Description:

Python's ConfigParser module is part of the standard library right now,

Maintainers of these packages should rebuild the packages and remove the dependency of the PKGBUILD:

python-matplotlib

Steps to reproduce:

So even if you don't have this package installed you can do:

$ pacman -Qi python-configobj
error: package "python-configobj" not found

$ python
>>> import ConfigParser

Reason for closing:  Won't fix
Additional comments about closing:  If the fix is supposed to be the deletion of the package, I won't fix.

from that list only python-matplotlib have the right to be. the others are in aur and those are unsupported. you should write comments or sent the maintainer and email announcing this.

Rebuild of python-matplotlib is done, because configobj is not mentioned as a dependency on their homepage. But I will not delete python-configobj as suggested because it is a different product.
