subversion 1.6 optionally supports gnome-keyring as passwordstore, but the arch package doesnt enable it.

I think it should be pretty easy to enable, just add --with-gnome keyring to the configure flags, and add gnome-keyring to the buildtime dependencies (and optional runtime deps)

Can you build it --with-gnome-keyring and still have it optional at runtime?

I built it locally with --with-gnome-keyring and uninstalled gnome-keyring, deleted ~/subversion/auth, and when i ran svn up it asked me for credentials and told me that it cant store the securely. Then i installed gnome-keyring again, deleted the ~/subversion/auth directory again, ran svn up and it asked me again for the credentials and didnt warn about not storing them securely. I also saw my credentials in seahorse. So i guess it works with and without gnome-keyring

So were you able to still run successfully?

-1 if this would need a gnome dep.
