Description:
The default core package version for the FTP install method of i686 Archlinux doesn't exist.
The problem is that if the user doesn't scroll down all the way at the final install window, he/she wont notice that the installation didn't take place because of a missing file.
So he/she will try next step, Configure, and will find 10 configure files EMPTY and unmounted, not able to write at them.

Additional info:
* package version(s): I think it's 0.75

Steps to reproduce:
i686 FTP install, GUI procedure, basic core packages selected by default.

Reason for closing:  Works for me
Additional comments about closing:  usbutils is now at 0.82-1
the installer does not look for a "prior" version. it will pick whatever is available

your mirror is not synced, 0.81 is the correct one.

  • Field changed: Percent Complete (100% → 0%)
As I said, default install searches for another, prior version.

@Tobias: one of the reason reopening this was also to test if  FS#13224  was fixed by Flyspray update.
