AIF now has support (and a partial procedure) for setting
keymap and console font.
( see discussion http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-releng/2009-February/000410.html ) We can deprecate the separate/old km script by: 1) aliasing km to 'aif -p partial-keymap' in /etc/profile on the installCD (is this a clean enough approach?) 2) i could make a /usr/bin/km that calls 'aif -p partial-keymap' and deliver it with aif. 3) putting a km script that calls 'aif -p partial-keymap' and put it in the archiso overlay sugestions? |
