AIF now has support (and a partial procedure) for setting keymap and console font.
( see discussion http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-releng/2009-February/000410.html )

We can deprecate the separate/old km script by:
1) aliasing km to 'aif -p partial-keymap' in /etc/profile on the installCD (is this a clean enough approach?)
2) i could make a /usr/bin/km that calls 'aif -p partial-keymap' and deliver it with aif.
3) putting a km script that calls 'aif -p partial-keymap' and put it in the archiso overlay

sugestions?
