Reason for closing: Won't fix
Additional comments about closing: impossible to fix closed crap. not a bug in our packages.

The problem was with the compositing. I turned on the "compositing" key in the gconf(apps->metacity->general) and fonts disappeared.
When i turned it off the fonts appeared again.
