DetailsThe setup image lets you change the keymap and the console font by using the 'km' command. Could these settings be imported to rc.conf without user interaction? If you use a non-english keymap this would usually apply to console of the setup cd as well as to the console of the newly installed system's rc.conf. Parts involved here are LOCALE, KEYMAP, CONSOLEFONT and CONSOLEMAP.

FS#13597is now implemented, so this should work. testing neededLOCALE should be set by the user during system config in rc.conf. There is no safe way to automate this based on the information the installer have at this time.
