i only find how to use hex editor to make the magic lamp don't wave so many times.

so i creat a little patch to apply it. make it wont look chaotic and shake to much. just like in mac os x. i just reduce the min of magic lamp wave to 0, instead of 3.

i thinks compiz guys don't want this effect to be like macosx's.

the patch fo compiz-fusion-plugins-main and compiz-fusion-plugins-main-git. hope add this patch.

I'd recommend that this be included in a separate AUR package rather than patching the repo version.

I agree with Daenyth here, if the compiz guys do not want the feature to look like the mac osx one then we don't make it look like one. If you want to get it implemented I suggest you try to convince upstream. Closing now.
