Details
Description: If theres no space left on root filesystem
during upgrading/installing packages, pacman screws whole
system and leave packages installed just partially or
uninstalled without reporting any error or warning. This
should damage/remove system binaries and other files which
are needed to boot, etc...
theres possibility of some another errors caused by pacman when no space left... In my case that made unusable binaries like: pacman (so i cant repair the system), halt, and many nescessary things... Steps to reproduce: install or upgrade few packages with little space left on / How to repair? - check diskspace before proceeding whole upgrade - check diskspace before installing each single package |
