Description:

The GTK Window Decorator does not draw minimize, maximize and close buttons when Compiz-fusion is running in the new Gnome 2.24 from the testing repository. Using Metacity instead of Compiz-fusion there are no problems.

Steps to reproduce:

Install GNOME 2.24, install compiz, start the compiz window manager.

Please give this a bump when gnome 2.24 moves to extra an the problem still exists. I'll leave it open for now. Community packages don't get fixed against the testing repo.

/usr/lib/window-manager-settings/libcompiz.so needs missing libgnome-desktop-2.so.2

Ι think that's the problem.

is this fixed with compiz-decorator-gtk 0.7.8-3 ?

For me (Arch x86_64) with compiz-decorator-gtk 0.7.8-4 this problem is not yet fixed

latest version on x86_64 is 0.7.8-4.1, not 0.7.8-4 as -4 on x86_64 was still not working.

Did you mean that that one is still having issues?

When I wrote the last version was -4. That very same day it was updated and it works really well. For me the bug is solved. Thank you for the help
