Description:
In GNOME, when changing volume level using the laptop multimedia buttons, the slider jumps arbitrarily causing volume levels also to jump and change arbitrarily. Works fine when adjusted using alsamixer. Additional info: * package version(s) H/W => 00:1e.2 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 03) Alsa: alsa-lib 1.0.16-1 alsa-oss 1.0.15-1 alsa-utils 1.0.16-1 Gnome: 2.22 Steps to reproduce: 1. Login to GNOME session. 2. Press 'mute' button on the media keys 3. Now press 'raise volume' button gradually. Notice the volume level slider jumping up and down. |
