Description:
If X is killed with ctrl-alt-backspace, Slim will not respawn. This is the case whether it is enabled via inittab or as a daemon. Additional info: * slim 1.3.0-2 Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable Slim as your login manager, either with inittab or as a daemon in rc.conf. 2. Boot. 3. Hit ctrl-alt-backspace when the login screen appears. You will now be able to log in on the command line. |

Knowing slim is a CRUX related project the above cant be far from
the truth
