This is perhaps more a feature request, but I think an AUR used to turn notification on whenever one adopted a package. This is currently not the case. I'd really prefer it to be automatic, as I often forget to click the notify button for my packages, hence missing useful comments from users.

Also would be great for a new package.

I've made a patch to implement this for new package submission but I'm not sure I agree with turning on notification for adoption. Aside from that it might take a bit of thinking to implement since multiple users can adopt and disown packages whether they own them or not. Perhaps it needs to be set up so adopting and disowning packages will only toggle notification if it's the owner doing it.

Well, it's enabled for new submissions in git.

Is this live?

Edit: Nevermind, just for new packages, not adoptions.
