I'm thinking about changing xf86-video-intel to xf86-video-i810. Does anybody know the difference between them?

extra/xf86-video-i810 1.7.4-7 (xorg-video-drivers)
X.org Intel i810/i830/i915 video drivers
extra/xf86-video-intel 2.2.1-2 (xorg-video-drivers)
X.org Intel i810/i830/i915 video drivers

Try setting the AccelMethod to XAA instead of the default which is EXA. I'll upgrade xf86-video-intel to the latest (prerelease) version soon, it's running fine on my system for a while now.
