Hello,
There's a new feature in kernel >= 2.6.20, which allows the user to get I/O stats from /proc/self/io, this feature is being used by iotop ( an I/O top-like python script, http://guichaz.free.fr/misc/iotop.py )... Can this Feature be added to the kernel please?? General Setup --> [*] Export task/process statistics through netlink (CONFIG_TASKSTATS) [*] Enable extended accounting over taskstats (CONFIG_TASK_XACCT) [*] Enable per-task storage I/O accounting (CONFIG_TASK_IO_ACCOUNTING) I would really appreciate it guys. Thx :) |
