Details

Description: They just moved ffmpeg from testing to extra, and that seems to have broken kdenlive. I get this when trying to load it:

Failed to load plugin: libavformat.so.51: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load plugin: libavformat.so.51: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
KCrash: Application 'kdenlive' crashing...

I guess it needs to be rebuilt against new ffmpeg.

Follow these steps:

$cd /usr/lib
$sudo ln -s libavformat.so libavformat.so.51

and check if you encounter another problem: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8531

Yes, exactly, after linking to the new lib I get that error of the undefined symbol.
