Description:
When I tried to execute 'pacman -S xorg mesa nvidia' command, a segfault occurs. The problem happened after a fresh install of Archlinux. I installed these packages separately, everything worked just fine. During 'nvidia' package installation, a package installed with mesa (I suppose), 'libgl', is deleted. May be it is in relation whith the segfault. Additional info: * package version(s) * nvidia : extra/nvidia 100.14.19-6 * xorg : extra/xorg-server 1.4.0.90-3 * mesa : extra/mesa 7.0.1-1 * libgl : extra/libgl 7.0.1-1 * Used mirror servers : * ftp://mir1.archlinuxfr.org (core, extra, community) Steps to reproduce: - Precondition : you have a fresh archlinux install (at least xorg is not installed) - execute the command 'pacman -S xorg mesa nvidia' - a segmentation fault should occured at this point |
