As the title says, no highscores are written to the score files in /opt/gnome/var/scores for any gnome game.

I found task 749 (http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/749) which is exactly my problem but which is already closed.

The permissions of the folder should be ok as ls-l says:

#ls -l |grep mahjongg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 0 14. Apr 00:40 mahjongg.bridges.scores
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 74 14. Apr 15:59 mahjongg.cloud.scores
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 0 14. Apr 00:40 mahjongg.confounding.scores
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 0 14. Apr 00:40 mahjongg.difficult.scores
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 0 14. Apr 00:40 mahjongg.dragon.scores
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 0 14. Apr 00:40 mahjongg.easy.scores
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users 0 14. Apr 00:40 mahjongg.pyramid.scores

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  gnome-games moved to /usr and should create all the required score files in /var/games now.

All scorefiles are kept in /opt/gnome/var/games/, which contains files that have been pre-initialized as zero-byte files. IMHO we should get a games group to do proper score management, which is why I still haven't updated gnome-games also (changed games and thus different score files is another reason)

Thx JGC for your answer!

Sorry btw for the typing mistake I made in the original report. I meant /opt/gnome/var/games anyway.
