Description:
Wireshark can be extended using python. This feature needs it to be compiled using --with-python configure flag.

I do request it to be added to wireshark or maybe create a different package with python support, something like wireshark-py.

seems that this is making wireshark segmenting faulting.  FS#20749 

now that i've look better, python support is experimental

if you want this feature, i suggest to investigate the problem and post patches for PKGBUILD if is a problem with our building process

Python support is still documented as experimental in wireshark 1.6.0
