Description:

Graphic acceleration is not working... switching between windows (for example firefox <> mozilla-mail) takes >1 sec which is pretty annoying :D

dmesg shows a warning about the i915 module:

i915: exports duplicate symbol i2c_dp_aux_add_bus (owned by drm_kms_helper)


X is not able to load the i915 module (see Xorg.0.log) and doing a "modprobe i915" is bringing up following error message:

FATAL: Error inserting i915 (/lib/modules/2.6.32-ARCH/kernel/drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915.ko): Invalid module format

*couch* a simple 'mkinitcpio -p kernel26' fixed my problems... after reboot the intel card was working fine again :D
