It would be nice to see which packages get promoted from AUR
to community or core/extra, or even the new packages in the
distro. I think it would be something interesting to have
because promoted packages are probably new good software
that would be interesting to hear about.
This could simply be implemented as a "new" icon next to new packages in the "recently updated packages" box, similarly to what the AUR home page has. Relevant forum discussion: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=66071 |

This is exactly why I think this is interesting. It would be a great way to discover new good software.
PAckages from community/core/extra dropped to AUR.
Not all users look wekly the AUR webpae and clic the "new in 7 days" so the inverse could help to those that are tracking packages that are droped from official (or dropped entirelly is happend [and happend one or 2 times in 2014 if mailisting and aur-search--web-engine is right])
