Description:
The latest wireshark package (1.0.6-1) doesn't work out of the box. The error message is:
"wireshark: error while loading shared libraries: libadns.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

After installing the adns package wireshark works as expected. Therefore adns should be add as a dependency.

Since I tested it only on x86_64, I can't comment whether this bug is present for both architectures.
This task depends upon

I wanted to add that I experienced the same problem, but after I installed adns it then complained about missing libraries that belong to portaudio. I didn't want to install portaudio on my system right now so I haven't tested it any further than that. But the package either needs to be recompiled with certain configuration options disabled, or the dependency list needs to be updated for it.

These "dependencies" are all in the community repo. Probably someone aint building packages in a chroot..

I can confirm that both adns and portaudio were required before wireshark would run properly.

I can confirm this bug on x86_64, however on my i686 installation wireshark works perfectly without adns or portaudio installed.

I experienced the same problem, both adns and portaudio, on x86_64. I agree with Grigorios - this is probably due to wireshark's autoconfiguration script detecting the installed portaudio and adns libraries on the system of whoever built the package (Hugo Doria is maintainer, says PKGBUILD). I'm sending him a link to this bug.

This seems to been x86_64 specific. I am the maintainer, but i did not built if for x86_64. Anyway, i will take a look and fix this bug. Thanks.

Same here, x86_64.
adns and portaudio are missing.
