Hi all,

I have notebook Hewlett Packard nx9420 (snd-hda-intel)
I tried both versions of Archlinux: i386 and x86_64,
desktop environment: Gnome

Description:
While pressing HW buttons Volume Up or Volume Down: sometimes is sound volume increment/decrement correctly, but sometimes is volume increment/decrement with wrong step.

Possible wrong steps are:
1) After first "Vol UP" press: volume is increment by one step,
after second press: volume is set to 0% (mute)
after third press volume level revet back to value in first step
This same for pressing volume down
2) Sometimes while pressing vol up/down button, volume on the left and right channels are increments by different step.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
All packages are actual. today (21.6.2008)
