So, I encountered a very strange problem, which I thought
was first connect to my webbrowser, but now I assume it's
X.
So whenever I want to open a page in a new tab (while browsing) I press the scrollwheel down. Funny thing is, that I have such a Microsoft Mouse [1] with a 4-waa scrolling wheel. And whenever I move the wheel to the right (could also work with moving to the left, not yet tested), and then click it down (no matter which application I'm in), GNOME quits and I'm confronted with GDM (so the same as when restarting X while in a session). Has anyone encountered similiar problems, or could help me to track this down further? Thanks in advance. [1] http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=041 |

Will report on whether it fixed the issue.
It's even worse now.
I just have to move the wheel to the side and *boom*, no more clicking required :(
(Trying means moving the wheel twice and getting two X restarts...)
