From my java experiences, it seems to me JAVA_HOME should be /opt/java/jre and JDK_HOME should be /opt/java CURRENTLY, it stands: jre.sh: if [ ! -f /etc/profile.d/jdk.sh ]; then export JAVA_HOME=/opt/java/jre fi jdk.sh: export JAVA_HOME=/opt/java Regardless, I think a JDK_HOME should be defined.
