What version of rhythmbox do you run now? I can't reproduce this with an USB stick.

Please recompile rhythmbox with debug symbols (add -g to CFLAGS in makepkg, add !strip to options) and install bug-buddy. Without a backtrace I can't do anything with this bug.

recompiled rhythmbox with -g and ! strip in makepkg.conf

after crash tried this command: 'bug-buddy --appname rhythmbox --pid 1714'

ptrace: No such process.
/home/****/27873: No such file or directory.
No stack.
/usr/share/bug-buddy/gdb-cmd:3: Error in sourced command file:
No registers.

It seems the google-breakpad debug module isn't registered as a loaded GTK module, to activate, you should logout from gnome after installing bug-buddy.
If you're familiar with gdb you could try to run rhythmbox inside GDB also.

Your backtrace shows something like this upstream bug:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=510236

This has been fixed in 0.11.5, the patch committed for this fix doesn't apply to 0.11.5, patch tells me it is already applied.
