The problem is fixed in 1.163, but there are quite a few perl packages that need 1.180 to work at their latest release and 1.181 is out. |
This task depends upon
It crashes with the 1.162 package that is in extra. :-/
Be warned that the latest 1.182 needs an update to perl-extutils-depends to 0.300.
Also in the same group (gtk2-perl.sf.net) there are updates for a few [extra] packages: gtk2-perl (1.162->1.182), glib-perl (1.162->1.182) and perl-extutils-pkgconfig (1.07->1.11).
I tried again a pair of days ago, the packaged version and by compiling with Corrado's PKGBUILD, same result : It crashes with segfault message when trying to open it's file browser, and when running, the music is awful and then I need to reboot to get other music applications run properly as if Gmusicbrowser use had broken the sound card !
It would be nice of the perl packages maintainer to upgrade whatever is needed as soon as it will be possible for him, as Gmusicbrowser is the only full featured music full featured application that needs not tons of dependancies.
