Details

The source entree in the thunderbird PKGBUILD is invalid. It should be:
source=(ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/$pkgver/thunderbird-$pkgver-source.tar.bz2 \
mozilla-thunderbird.run)

That will make the package makepkg correctly.
