DetailsDescription:
Installing the hplip update and trying to print leads to no response from the printer when a document is queued for printing. Running hp-toolbox gives the error: CUPSEXT could not be loaded. Please check HPLIP installation. A simple recompile of the package from ABS fixed the issue. Additional info: * hplip-2.8.2-2 Steps to reproduce: As above. |

You're using testing with libtool 2.x, see the other libtool bugs about what to do in the meanwhile (extract the old lib from the old package and put it on your system for now).

OK, thanks for the tip. Aren't there usually two packages when something like this happens, one for testing and one for extra?
