Sorry for the lack of info, but the computer is unusable (even at the fallback image).

Steps to reproduce:
Add some RAM to your desktop, change the OS to arch linux and boot. :)
I hope this info is enough because i don't think i can provide much more...

Best regards!

what iso did you use?
Comment by Manifest0 (Manifest0) - Sunday, 09 March 2008, 12:48 GMT
The latest one: ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/iso/2007.08/i686/Archlinux-i686-2007.08-2.ftp.iso.torrent

I also running the memtest for 9 hours (12 pass) and there is no error.

could you boot from cd, mount your root in /mnt and see what udev version you have installed?
ls /mnt/var/lib/pacman/local/udev*
Comment by Manifest0 (Manifest0) - Sunday, 09 March 2008, 13:52 GMT
# ls /mnt/var/lib/pacman/local/ | grep udev
klibc-udev-116-2
udev-116-3

Greetings!

I guess i solved the problem... It was a BIOS problem!

I've already reboot 3 times with no problems.

I load the defaults and then turned off the floppy, the onboard 1394 device, the onboard ac97.

Best regards!

p.s.: After lots of reboots and changing options one by one i figured out, and honestly i don't understand.
In advanced chipset features -> CPU external Freq. (MHZ) i had 200 MHz, but if i change to 166 Mhz it works fine! But in my board and ram specs they are DDR2 400MHz...
