DetailsAfter installing xf86-video-intel from extra I see this warning each time I run pacman:
warning: xf86-video-intel: local (2.2.1-1) is newer than extra (2.2.0-2) pacman -Q | grep xf86-video-intel shows that the locally installed version is indeed 2.2.1-1. Here is the desc file (xf86-video-intel-2.2.0-2/desc) from extra.db.tar.gz showing the mismatch between name and listed version. %FILENAME% xf86-video-intel-2.2.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz %NAME% xf86-video-intel %VERSION% 2.2.0-2 %DESC% X.org Intel i810/i830/i915 video drivers %CSIZE% 4241607 %MD5SUM% 23c306dd594ba8157c36e55bfb032462 %GROUPS% xorg-video-drivers --- This problem does not seem to be present in the i686/extra repository. |
